As a keen runner having completed many road races and marathons, Fell & Trail running and Ultra marathons became my passion, completing my first 100 mile Ultra marathon back in 2016. In 2020 I will be taking on 10 Marathons in 10 days for the Brathay Childrens Trust around Lake Windermere.
I first qualified as a sports massage therapist at South Cheshire College, then graduating from Active Health Group Academy in Manchester and I am now fully qualified with an Advanced Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sports Therapy and Remedial Therapy Qualification dealing with many Musculoskeletal issues. I am a member of the Sports Therapy Organisation as well as the Sports massage Association as well as being registered with the CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council).
Having Treated many runners and athletes from all different backgrounds and abilities, I have lots of personal experience of injuries and the aches & pains us runners and athletes come across.
I have also spent time working within football, firstly at Crewe Alexandra Ladies F.C, where I spent 2 seasons as the Head Sports Therapist, then I moved on to 1874 Northwich F.C in the Northwest Counties League and spent a further 2 successful seasons there where the team gained promotion to the Northwest Premier League.
