COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at Post Graduate Level. I am passionate about helping people to understand their difficulties and develop practical skills to enhance their wellbeing and work towards their recovery.
My area of expertise is in working with adults who have mental health problems such as Depression, Sleep Problems, Work-Related Stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (excessive worry), Health Anxiety, Phobias and Social Anxiety.
I aim to provide a safe therapy space for my clients to reach a shared understanding of your problem. Helping you to improve the quality of your life by developing and learning strategies to move forward now and for the future.
I undertake regular clinical supervision and CPD to develop and further my skills to ensure I can offer the most appropriate, timely and effective interventions.
In addition to the individual therapy sessions, I also offer wellbeing workshops and bespoke workplace training.
I am a relationship counsellor I work with individuals and/or couples to help them maintain a loving, happy and respectful relationships. Relationship counselling is a process and it takes time to make a difference to the way you feel and the way your relationship changes, hence I offer short and long-term therapy.
My role as a counsellor is to help you to understand and explore the feelings and thoughts that may contribute to the way your relationship work. I help you to find ways of changing the way you feel and think so that you are in control. You are important and you can feel yourself again.
PERSON CENTRED COUNSELLOR
Person Centred Therapy offers you a safe space to unravel your thoughts and feelings and to make sense of it all at your own pace. I won't judge, but I will listen and give you my full attention and support. It can be used with most issues - contact me for more specific information
Our services include Relationship Counselling for individuals and couples, Family Counselling, Mediation, Children and Young People's Counselling and Psychosexual Therapy. We also provide friendly and informal workshops for people at important stages in their relationships.
